He Needed Mitral Valve Repair and Not a Valve Replacement
My grandfather is a “young” 75 year old man. He’s never had a health problem in his entire life. He walks at least 3 miles a day and he works out at a gym 2 to 4 times a week. He still cuts his own firewood and repairs things in his home when they break down. He is also the one who we all turn to when our cars need to be fixed. He’s lived alone now for about five years since my grandmother passed away. My grandfather is absolutely amazing. Last week he went to his doctor for a check up and found out that there was a problem with his heart. After a barrage of tests, his doctor sent him to a cardiac specialist. The specialist confirmed that he needed mitral valve repair. He told my grandfather that they caught the problem in time and that he would not need a replacement valve.
